Vacancies At WPA
Position Overview:
We are currently seeking passionate and dedicated individuals to join our Board of Directors. As a board member, you will play a crucial role in guiding the strategic direction of the organization, making key decisions, and contributing to the overall success of our mission.
Responsibilities:
- Attend regular board meetings and actively participate in discussions
- Provide strategic insights and expertise to help shape the organization’s goals
- Assist in fundraising efforts and resource development
- Promote the organization’s mission and activities to the community and stakeholders
- Participate in committees and special projects as needed
- Uphold the organization’s values and contribute to a positive and collaborative board culture
Qualifications:
- Passionate about supporting members with mental health.
- Strong commitment to community service and social impact.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills.
- Experience in or relevant skills or expertise, e.g., finance, marketing, legal, etc.
- Ability to dedicate time and energy to attend meetings and actively engage in board responsibilities.
- Prior experience in non-profit governance or board leadership is a plus but not an asset.

We are seeking an enthusiastic and creative individual to join us as a Social Media Coordinator. As the Social Media Coordinator, you will play a pivotal role in promoting our organization’s mission and engaging our community through various social media platforms.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement social media strategies to increase our organization’s online presence and drive engagement
- Create and curate compelling content for social media channels, including posts, images, videos, and stories
- Manage the organization’s social media accounts, including scheduling posts and responding to comments and messages
- Monitor social media trends and stay updated on best practices to optimize our online outreach efforts
- Collaborate with team members to ensure consistent messaging and branding across all social media platforms
- Analyze and report on social media metrics to measure the effectiveness of campaigns and recommend improvements
Qualifications:
- Passion for supporting members with mental health.
- Proven experience in managing social media platforms and creating engaging content
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Creative mindset and ability to think outside the box
- Familiarity with social media analytics and tools
